PHOTOGRAPHY DURING COVID
Planning a wedding is usually an incredible and slightly challenging experience. With the added stress of a pandemic, there are so many additional moving parts to tackle. This extends not only to the logistics surrounding your special day but also affects various emotions for you, your families, loved ones and friends. In these unprecedented times, we will work together with you to minimize additional stresses and work to keep you, your guests, and our staff safe. Below outlines some of our new policies to help you plan accordingly. It includes information about my policies for both photography sessions and all events. We aspire to be as flexible and easy to work with as possible with safety as our priority during these unique times. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns for your big day.
PANDEMIC POLICIES FOR PRIVATE EVENTS
Are photographers permitted at your event?
Photographers are permitted at your special event as long as your venue is compliant, it is legal in the state of your event, and all government-mandated safety protocols are followed.
We will be diligent regarding proper distancing and mask-wearing, among other precautions. We follow these guidelines in order to not only protect ourselves but also you, your guests, event staff and all guests of future events we attend.
How will photography work during the pandemic?
Your safety and the safety of your guests is of the utmost importance to us. We continue to strictly comply with the protocols and policies outlined by the Center for Disease Control:
Social Distancing - I will use lenses that allow me to maintain social distance. I will need to maintain a minimum of 6’ distance from all guests. I would love to discuss all the details to ensure I’ll be able to move around the space to capture your amazing event.
Face Masks - We will wear a mask during all events.
Staying Healthy - If we were to start exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19 or have to self-quarantine and your event is within 14 days, I will have an associate photographer document your event.
What are the biggest impacts the pandemic has had on event photography?
Weddings and events have a different look and feel due to the pandemic. My style of photographing allows me to maintain my distance and still capture your event beautifully.
PANDEMIC POLICIES FOR PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS
Availability - Please let us know when you are interested in taking portraits and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Locations - As of now, sessions will take place outdoors only. Outdoor locations will be limited to places that are open and where we can socially distance ourselves from each other as well as from the general public.
Social Distancing - We will keep a minimum of 6' distance during sessions at all times and will photograph accordingly.
Posing - Photography sessions will be no-contact posing. You will be guided from a safe distance.
Face Masks - We will wear masks during the entire session. For outdoor sessions, you'll need to wear a mask while we're together except for when I am actively taking your photo. At this time, no sessions will be taking place indoors since masks are required 100% of the time inside.
Health Checks - Please be courteous of everyone's health. If anyone in your household is feeling sick or has a fever 14 days prior to your session, we will need to reschedule. Reschedule fees will be waived. Before you leave home, be sure to check temperatures as a precaution. If we become sick or exposed to someone with Covid-19, we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule.
